What is a Flash Trade ?

Why Your Executed Order May Not Appear in Price Statistics or Charts

Yes, it is possible for your order to be executed without the price appearing in price statistics or charts. This can happen when your order gets matched among millions of bid and ask ticks that occur on the Exchange.

Understanding the Process:

Trading is heavily technology-driven, and millions of ticks, including bid and ask rates, flash through the system as orders are converted into trades. Charts or statistics capture only one tick per second, while there could be hundreds of other ticks or trades occurring within that same second. It’s nearly impossible to capture all of them in charts or statistics.

Verification:

You can verify the genuineness of your trades by checking the open, high, low, and close data for that day on the Exchange’s website. Additionally, trades can be verified through the Trade Verification module provided by various Exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX) within five working days.

NSE Data Feeds:

NSE captures all ticks under Tick by Tick data feeds, which are best accessed through NSE Co-location or within the Exchange premises. This feed is more comprehensive and expensive compared to normal data feeds and can be subscribed from NSE's authorized data vendors.
