I have transferred funds, but its not updated

Funds transferred to your trading account usually update within minutes, as our system automatically allocates them to the exchange, receives acknowledgement, and then updates the trading terminal. However, delays can occur due to the following reasons:


Potential Delays:

  • NEFT Transfers: NEFT transfers may take longer and could update by the next business day, depending on the bank's credit timing.
  • IMPS Transfers: IMPS transfers typically update within 15 minutes.
  • Registered Bank Account: If you transferred funds from a bank account not linked to your trading account, the funds will not be automatically updated.
  • After 7:00 PM Transfers: Funds transferred after 7 PM are not allocated for MCX trading the same day. For more details, click here.
  • Only MCX Account Holders: If your account is only for MCX trading, there may be a delay of up to 1 hour as the fund allocation to MCX is currently not automated.

Checklist for Troubleshooting:

  • Bank Account: Confirm that you have transferred funds from a bank account Registered to your trading account. Transfers made from unregistered Bankred  Bank accounts are considered third-party transfers and will not be usable for trading.
  • Transfer Method & Timing: If you used NEFT, be aware of potential delays.

What to Do If Funds Are Not Updated:

  1. Contact Support: If funds aren’t updated after a reasonable time, reach out for assistance.
  2. Provide Proof for Unregistered Bank A/c Transfers: If the transfer was from an unregistered Bank account, share your bank statement as proof. Funds will be returned to the same account, and you should then transfer them from the Registered Bank account.
  3. Update Bank Account:
    • Online: Add the bank account via the profile edit section on the trading platform.  You can also update online through re-KYC portal
    • Offline: Joint demat account holders can use an Additional Bank Form. Check here to download the form.

Tips for Smooth Future Transfers:

  • Use the Trading Platform: Transfer funds directly from the trading platform to ensure immediate updates.
  • Linked Accounts Only: Ensure all transfers are from linked bank accounts.
  • Timing: Transfer funds before 7 PM to ensure same-day updates.
  • Only MCX Account Holders: If you only hold an MCX account for Commodity F&O, consider enabling the Equity F&O segment via the re-KYC portal for seamless, timely updates without delay.
