SEBI has extended the last date to submit the choice of Nomination in demat accounts and MF folios to June 30, 2024
This is done following representation from market participants and for ease of compliance and investor convenience. This was earlier fixed on 31st December, 2023 and now extended.
According to this requirement, every client holding demat account and having MF folios should declare their choice to nominate or not to nominate any one on their accounts before, 30th June, 2024. If not done, the accounts will be suspended by Exchanges. For more details, refer to the circular attached.
